Bryan Wynia



Bryan is a Lead Character Artist at Tripwire Interactive in Atlanta but also regularly freelances as a character designer for blockbuster Hollywood films like The Predator, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Nun and more. Bryan’s specialty is in horror creatures and monsters and he is known throughout the industry as the “Monster Man”, in his own words put simply “I grew up in the 1980s on a steady diet of creature features, video games and comic books …I like to make Monsters.”

Bryan started his career as an artist in the entertainment industry as a Digital sculptor and Modeler at Gentle Giant Studios for visual effects, video game, and collectible franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, DC and more.

He then left the fabrication side of the industry for gaming and joined the team at Naughty Dog where he worked on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception as a Character Artist. Before joining the team at Tripwire, he worked at Sony Santa Monica as a Senior Character Artist on God of War: Ascension, at Hi-Rez Studio in Atlanta he was a Senior Character Artist on a tactical RPG SMITE and a class-based hero shooter Paladins. His character design and development skills helped bring to life characters for id Software’s much beloved, DOOM.

Bryan is also a very in-demand character/creature artist in the film industry and has worked on Bright, Maleficent, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Men In Black: International, The Ningyo, and more.

He has a keen design eye with advanced skills in Zbrush and and believes in giving back to the community through education.

In his spare time, he enjoys cosplaying with his daughters, Penny and Josie, and helping with their soccer teams. The whole family looks forward to Halloween every year and are known for their house decor and family costumes.
