LEAD CHARACTER ARTIST, TRIPWIRE INTERACTIVE

For over a decade Bryan has created creatures and characters for the video game industry. Previously he worked at ID Software, Sony Santa Monica, Hi-Rez Studios and Naughty Dog. Bryan now works as the Lead Character Artist at Tripwire Interactive in Atlanta, Georgia.

He also works as a freelance character designer and concept artist for a variety  of film projects. He has contributed designs to films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Predator, Bright, and The Nun. Some of his clients include Amalgamated Dynamics, Legacy Effects, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and Gentle Giant Studios.

Bryan believes in giving back to the community through education. He has taught classes and workshops at Gnomon, CDW Studios, Concept Design Academy, ArtCenter College of Design, and is a Concept Art Association Mentor.

Bryan will take us through his process for designing a horror film creature make-up. Using Z-Brush and Photoshop he will create multiple design options to explore his creature and end up with a variety of options to pass on to production.
