Zero Latency is a technology company that develops free-roam virtual reality systems.  In August 2015, Zero Latency opened the world’s first multiplayer immersive virtual reality gaming centre in North Melbourne, Australia. Featuring state-of-the-art wireless technology and motion tracking, Zero Latency are bringing the next level of gaming. Players can roam in teams or solo in 400 square metres of game space. The company is best known for a game that pits friends in a battle against Zombies, but has also developed an exploratory mystery game and a group puzzle-based game, which took out the won a “People’s Choice” award at the annual International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in Florida.

James De Colling is head of content at Zero Latency. James has had over 16 years experience working on content for every major console platform, handheld and mobile/tablet device, mixed in with various bits of CG for TVC’s and Print Media. Starting his career as an artist at Atari Melbourne House, he has gone on to hold senior artist and art director positions in game studios across Australia and Japan. With skills in lighting modelling and environments design. James is responsible for the building of the creative team at Zero Latency that has grown to 42 artists in the past year.
